YMCA Kitto 'C' team played their second match of the season at home to Callington 'C'. Having been beaten by the YMCA 'B' team, the 'C' team were out to prove a point.
All 3 men's games were comfortably taken by the YMCA men.
The ladies matches were closer and Patricia Haley and Angie Regan thought hard after losing the first game 15-11 to stage a comeback 15-7 15-13 against Fiona and Jan from Callington.
Confidence was now sky high and in the first two mixed matches the points went to the YMCA pairings. James and Christine from Callington took their match into a third game and won 15-13 against Darren and Angie.
The young men from Callington played really well and will no doubt gain more valuable experience throughout the season. The YMCA 'C' team will be letting some of the youngsters play in forthcoming matches.
